Why is airsofting better than paintballing

Airsofting is better because you don't get as messy as paintballing. Also airsoft is more
fun because its more realistic as well as you've got more of a target Wickham and Ringwood I would say have the best and the best weapons in there armoury I prefer to got to Wickham as they them have a better lay out also in airsoft they have special day.

For players who have attended the previous Vietnam themed Airsoft ‘In Country’ events at Combat South the general organisation and gameplay will follow the established pattern, with some minor modifications to previous years. Also a big ‘thank you’ is given in credit to Nick (Sideshow) from the original Wiltshire War Zone site, for giving permission to use his original idea as the basis for the ‘In Country’ events at Combat South. BEFORE booking players are requested to read over this information. All players must book and pay in advance. Players will be asked which side they intend to play on at booking. A numbers balancing system will be in operation to keep the sides balanced.

The In Country 11: '11-Bravo’ event will run from the evening of Friday 9th to the afternoon of Sunday 11th of August 2013. Players must be over 18 and no two-tone/translucent weapons will be allowed. NO scopes on any weapons except sniper rifles. Sniper rifles must have wood effect furniture, any non-period plastic effect furniture/RIS rails etc., must be covered/scrimmed on any weapon. The cost will be £30 per player and includes gameplay for the entire event, parking and camping (if required) on the site for Friday and Saturday night.

What is Airsofting

For those who are new to airsoft, these guns shoot 6mm round pellets commonly known as “BBs.” They travel at speeds much lower than real bullets and although a bit painful when hit by one of these pellets, they cannot kill someone nor cause heavy-bleeding injuries unlike real guns. Even though airsoft is considered a toy gun, safety precautions should still be taken into account when playing with these replicas.

As mentioned most airsoft are the exact copies of the actual guns. Some manufacturers even use real mould of the originals in order to create the look, feel and even weight of their real-steel counterpart. Automatic Electric Guns can only cause welts. It is still painful however when the BB pellets hit the skin, since they travel at high speeds.

Airsoft guns can be categorized into 3 types. They are:

     1.Automatic Electric Guns (AEG)
     2.Gas-Powered
     3.Spring-Powered
